ChildcareChildcare

Of all the staff families employ, none are as important as the individuals who look after the most valuable things in their lives – their children.

Our Childcare Team has decades of experience in the industry, some working as nannies themselves and employing nannies to look after their own children.

"I thoroughly recommend SORTED to find more than just the usual nanny. They took time to understand what we needed and were responsive and easy to deal with.  We couldn't be happier with the results."  Dido Harding, Talk Talk

They understand the job from all angles and spend time listening, getting to know the parents, the children and, of course, the nannies we represent, many of whom have been with us with for years.

For every family there is a perfect childcare solution

families spend an average of 80 hours looking for a nanny without an agency.

This is how we find the perfect person for you in less than half the time.

Before

One of our Consultants will visit your home, meet the family (including pets) and listen to everyone to get a full understanding of the role and the best type of person to fill it.

As many of our clients work irregular hours and travel extensively, we're flexible, and understand that any potential nannies must be too.

With a list of responsibilities, necessary skills and personality traits, we draft a detailed job description.  At this stage, clarity ensures expectations are met.

During

While we know who's available or ready to move on, we also contact our networks and place discreet advertisements.

After sifting through applicants CVs, we carry out in depth preliminary interviews, check references, visa status and the validity of First Aid and DBS certificates.

Once satisfied we present a carefully selected shortlist of candidates for consideration and book interviews to suit your schedule.

If parents are unfamiliar with the recruitment process, we'll advise on interview structure and questions and can be a part of the interview process.

Clear communication throughout the interview process is essential and we encourage frank feedback to refine the search further if necessary.

After

Once a Nanny has been picked, we will assist with the engagement of the Nanny, drafting an Offer Letter and providing a template of an Employment Contract and a Confidentiality Agreement.

We can make introductions to Nanny Payroll experts, help with additional training and any HR issues.  read more

Going forwards, we provide ongoing support to both the family and the nanny to ensure that both the nanny has settled in well and the working relationship is long and successful.

Additional benefits

SORTED is without doubt my first port of call for anything which is nanny or childcare related, and will continue to be so while our family keeps growing and our circumstances keep changing."BS, Private Client

We have established a Nanny Network for all Nannies registered with SORTED providing an online and offline community.

 Benefits include:

First Aid

Being a nanny brings a great deal of responsibility and knowing what to do in the case of an accident is essential.

It is a requirement for all nannies registered with SORTED to have valid First Aid and DBS certificates before they can be considered for employment. They are fully reference checked and we ensure that their First Aid and DBS certificates are valid and kept up to date.

We run regular First Aid courses for Nannies needing to renew their certificates and complimentary quarterly courses for parents wishing to learn First Aid.
